re:production use Georgian Manor House for TV commercial

One of the best parts of our jobs is getting to go behind the scenes on a shoot and see the location that you recommended working perfectly for the client. In November we worked with who were looking for a location for their Sprint 2019 TV commercial for Barker & Stonehouse. We sent over lots of options and after going to recce 7 locations, they chose Location 3124N in North Yorkshire. For the style of furniture that they were shooting, this large Georgian Manor House in North Yorkshire was the ideal choice. During the run up we got an insight into how much work goes into the planning of a shoot - skirting boards were measured, paint colours had to be matched (Farrow & Ball - Stiffkey Blue) and chandeliers had to be taken down!

 

On the day it was a slick machine, despite a crew of 15 and the owners furniture being moved and new furniture coming in, everyone had a job to do and they all knew exactly what they were doing. The owner really enjoyed the shoot and would have the crew back anytime.
